The Ontario DFA Chapter hosted the Doan(e) Family Association's 50th anniversary biennial celebration reunion July 21-26, 2008 in scenic Barrie, Ontario.

| We enjoyed a wonderful lunch on our tour prepared by the ladies of the Sharon Hope United Church. | Next stop was the temple of the Children of Peace in Sharon. It was built in 1825-1832 by master carpenters Ebeneezer and John Doan. |
